Aspetto generale General appearance

L'elmetto si presenta vissuto, probabilmente conservato in ambiente umido. Il fregio frontale è in buone condizioni. La vernice di fabbrica è marrone e in configurazione classica del primo periodo. Bello ed intoccato. Il liner è un modello MKI con marchi non leggibili. The helmet shows clear signs of use, probably stored in a damp environment. The front insignia is in good condition. The factory paint is brown, in the typical early-war configuration. Untouched and well preserved. The liner is a MKI model with illegible markings.

Fregio Insignia

La croce bianca frontale da barelliere è ben conservata. Realizzata a vernice sul campo, è una tipologia di fregio poco comune. The white front cross of the stretcher-bearer is well preserved. Painted directly in the field, this is a rather uncommon type of insignia.

Ganci sottogola Chinstrap lugs

I ganci sono modello MKII (1938–1939), privi di marchio. Guscio marcato ROCO 1939. The lugs are MKII model (1938–1939), without markings. Shell marked ROCO 1939.

Vite Screw

Vite e rondella filettata modello MKI, il primo tipo usato per fissare i liner (1938–1939). Alcuni esemplari rimasero in uso anche successivamente. Screw and threaded washer of MKI type, the first model used to fasten liners (1938–1939). Some examples remained in use even later.

Sottogola Chinstrap

Modello MKII, in uso dal 1938 fino a tutta la guerra (anche dopo l’introduzione del più economico MKIII). In questo esemplare la stoffa coprimolla è aperta su un lato. MKII model, used from 1938 throughout the war (even after the cheaper MKIII was introduced). On this example the spring cover fabric is open on one side.
